1. Start with the geography you actually serve
Big Spring city is a municipality in Howard County, Texas. The 2020–2024 American Community Survey 5-year population estimate for the city is 23,975, with a margin of error of 25. That figure describes the city’s population; it does not establish legal demand, search activity, competition, call volume or the number of prospective clients. It also does not define the full service area your firm may choose to cover. Before interpreting attribution, separate Big Spring inquiries from matters originating elsewhere in Howard County or outside the county. A location label alone cannot tell you whether a marketing channel is producing the type of matter your firm accepts.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic fields you want to review before judging performance. At minimum, decide how your team will distinguish Big Spring from Howard County and from other Texas locations. Then ask whether each lead record can be evaluated by location, practice area, qualification and outcome without turning the Census population estimate into a demand forecast.
