1. Define the Amarillo service area before spending
The Census identifies Amarillo city as a municipality and records relationships with Potter County and Randall County. Those are different geographic descriptions: a city, counties and any broader metropolitan area should not be treated as interchangeable. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description says its program includes practice-area categories and service areas. That makes geographic definition an implementation decision, not a conclusion drawn from population. Decide whether your firm wants to advertise within Amarillo city, selected parts of Potter County, selected parts of Randall County, or another legally and operationally appropriate area. Do not add a location merely because it appears nearby.
Recommended approach
Bring your actual service boundaries, office or consultation preferences, travel limits and case-acceptance rules to the consultation. Review each proposed area against the matters you want and can handle. Measure inquiries by geographic source so an expanded service area can be judged on qualified intake rather than raw contact volume.
