1. Set the geographic boundary before spending
The Census record identifies Savannah as a city in Hardin County. It does not say that every prospective client is in the municipality, nor does it establish the correct advertising radius for a law firm. Your service area may include Savannah, other parts of Hardin County or locations outside the city, but those choices should follow where you are licensed, where you accept matters and where your intake team can respond appropriately. Bosseo’s LSA page describes category and geography targeting as part of its program. That makes the consultation a place to distinguish the city from the county and from any broader area the firm actually serves.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area policy to the review. Decide which locations are eligible, which are excluded and how an out-of-area inquiry should be handled. Do not use Savannah’s population as a forecast. Use geographic settings to reflect your practice, then measure whether inquiries from each approved area are qualified.
