1. Set the geographic boundary before reading the totals
The Census record identifies Milan city as a municipality in Gibson County. A city total, a county total, a metropolitan area, Tennessee as a whole, and a household or individual are not interchangeable measures. The dashboard page says city data can inform decisions about where clients come from, but it does not establish that Milan produces a particular number of searches, calls, matters, or dollars. Your team therefore needs a naming rule for geography before interpreting a chart. Decide whether “Milan” means the city, whether Gibson County is reported separately, and whether statewide activity belongs in the same view or a different segment.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels are defined for rankings, calls, leads, and matters. Treat Milan and Gibson County as separate review questions unless your firm deliberately combines them. Do not use the city’s population estimate as a forecast of legal need or marketing return.
