1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Bosseo’s public product text describes two footprint choices: the whole state or only counties selected by the firm. Crossville’s recorded county relationship is Cumberland County, so a local evaluation should distinguish Crossville city pages from broader Cumberland County coverage. Those are not interchangeable scopes. A firm may serve Crossville without wanting every Tennessee city, or it may accept matters from additional counties that require a separate decision. The Census record identifies Crossville as a municipality; it does not show where prospective clients search or where the firm should accept cases.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area policy to the consultation. Decide whether Crossville is the initial city focus, whether Cumberland County is the initial county boundary, and which additional counties—if any—the firm is prepared to serve. Ask Bosseo to explain how the selected geography would map to the pages under consideration. Do not approve statewide coverage merely because the population estimate is available.
