1. Put White Knoll geography into the measurement plan
White Knoll is recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau as a census-designated place in Lexington County, South Carolina. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 8,310, with a margin of error of 816. That is geographic and population context only. It does not establish search demand, competition, leads, cases or revenue. A dashboard should therefore distinguish the place named in a tracking target from the broader territory your firm actually serves. If your intake covers Lexington County or other South Carolina communities, those areas should not be silently treated as White Knoll results. Ask how locations are named, grouped and displayed. Also ask whether a case is attributed to a search location, a caller’s stated location, a landing page or another source. Those are different definitions.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, write down the geographic scope for each report: White Knoll CDP, Lexington County, South Carolina, or another service area. Require the dashboard review to show which scope applies to each metric.
