1. Define the geography before reading the numbers
A Union firm may describe its market as Union, Union County, South Carolina, or a wider area. Those labels are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies Union city as a municipality and records its county relationship as Union County; it does not establish how far your firm serves or which locations should count as a marketing opportunity. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes city data, service-and-city keyword targets and questions about which cities produce calls. That makes geographic definition a measurement decision, not a copywriting detail.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing a dashboard, write down whether each tracked target refers to Union city, Union County, another South Carolina location, or a broader service area. Ask how a call or form is assigned when the person lives outside Union city but contacts the firm about a matter served in the county. Do not compare city and county figures as though they describe the same population or market.
