1. Define the service area before you spend
Your firm may serve Spartanburg city, other parts of Spartanburg County, or a wider South Carolina area. Those are different geographic choices. The Census record identifies Spartanburg city as a municipality and records its relationship to Spartanburg County; it does not establish where your firm should advertise. Local Services Ads need a deliberate service-area decision tied to licensure, staffing, travel, matter type and intake capacity. Do not treat the city population as evidence that a particular practice area has demand.
Recommended approach
Bring your actual service boundaries to the consultation. Review city coverage separately from county coverage and identify any South Carolina locations you do not want to receive. Bosseo’s public Local Services Ads description says its program includes practice-area categories and service areas, so ask how those settings would be evaluated for your firm rather than accepting a broad geographic default.
