Start with the firm’s actual bottleneck
Bosseo describes Custom Software as a way to build around how a law firm works rather than forcing the firm into an off-the-shelf workflow. Possible build areas described on Bosseo’s page include client portals, intake tools, internal dashboards, referral trackers, document intake flows, calculators and integrations between existing systems. Those examples are not a recommendation for your firm. A Seven Oaks practice should first identify the task that staff perform repeatedly, such as copying information between systems or responding to routine case-status questions. The local population record gives context about the community served, but it does not determine which operational problem exists inside your office.
Recommended approach
Bring one specific process to the consultation. Describe who performs it, what information they use, where the process stops, and what a successful handoff would look like. If the issue can be solved by configuring an existing product, custom software may not be necessary.
