1. Start with Sangaree’s actual service geography
Sangaree is recorded as a CDP in Berkeley County, South Carolina. That exact relationship matters when you review forms, routing rules and reporting: a Sangaree inquiry is not automatically the same thing as a Berkeley County inquiry, a metropolitan-area inquiry or a South Carolina-wide inquiry. Population alone cannot tell you how many people contact the firm, which matters they have, or whether the firm needs more staff. Automation should therefore preserve the geographic information the firm actually collects rather than create assumptions from the place name.
Recommended approach
Review whether your intake records distinguish Sangaree from Berkeley County and from broader South Carolina service areas. If geography affects eligibility, assignment or reporting, make that a deliberate intake field and define who reviews it. Do not use the ACS population estimate as a forecast for leads or cases.
