1. Put North Charleston geography into the measurement plan
The U.S. Census Bureau records North Charleston as a municipality in South Carolina. Its 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate is 119,913, with a margin of error of 119, and the recorded county relationships are Berkeley County, Charleston County and Dorchester County. That population figure is not evidence of search demand, case volume, competition, leads or revenue. It does, however, make geographic definition important: a report can become misleading if North Charleston city, an individual county, a wider service area and South Carolina statewide activity are treated as the same thing.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location is represented in the dashboard and how your firm will distinguish North Charleston from Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. Decide whether the firm wants city-level, county-level, statewide or other approved geographic views before interpreting a trend. Treat any geographic comparison as a measurement decision, not as proof that one place produces more legal work.
