1. Set the Little River footprint without overstating the market
Little River is a CDP in Horry County, South Carolina. That relationship matters when a firm is deciding whether its service area should be limited to Horry County or extended more broadly across South Carolina. It does not establish that people in Little River are searching for a particular lawyer, that competing firms are weak, or that a page will attract an inquiry. The ACS estimate of 11,771 residents is useful for identifying the place and its scale, but it cannot support a demand or revenue projection. Bosseo’s public product description says the footprint can be statewide or limited to selected counties. That makes county selection a real strategic choice rather than an automatic statewide commitment.
Recommended approach
At a consultation, define the firm’s actual service territory in writing. Compare an Horry County footprint with any broader South Carolina scope, then remove cities and services the firm does not intend to serve. Treat Little River as one location within that decision, not as a proxy for the entire county or state.
