1. Define Columbia coverage without treating population as demand
Columbia’s recorded county relationships include Kershaw County, Lexington County and Richland County. That geographic relationship matters when your firm decides which service areas it is actually prepared to serve. It does not mean that every household or individual in those counties is a prospective client, and it does not prove that a particular legal service has search demand there. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads page describes category and geography targeting, including practice-area categories and service areas. The practical decision is therefore narrower: which locations should the profile cover, and which locations should be excluded because travel, licensing, staffing or matter fit make them unsuitable?
Recommended approach
Prepare a service-area map based on the firm’s real intake policy. Review Columbia separately from Kershaw, Lexington and Richland County coverage, then decide whether each area belongs in the program. Measure inquiries by geography and case type rather than using Columbia’s population as a forecast.
