Define the Chester geography before reading the numbers
A local dashboard can become misleading when “Chester” means different things in different views. The Census record identifies Chester city as a municipality and records its county relationship as Chester County. Your firm may serve people in the city, elsewhere in Chester County, or beyond it, but those areas should not be treated as interchangeable. A city keyword, a county service area, a caller’s location and a matter’s jurisdiction can answer different questions. The dashboard page describes city data, case-type data and source attribution as decision aids, but the public description does not establish how a particular Chester firm’s geographic definitions will be configured.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels would be defined and displayed for your firm. Decide whether a Chester-city view, a Chester County view or another service area is the relevant unit for each practice area. Keep population context separate from performance evidence, and require every review to state the geography behind the number.
