1. Define the Anderson service area before spending
A firm may describe itself as serving Anderson while accepting matters only in Anderson city, throughout Anderson County, or across a wider South Carolina area. Those are different geographic choices. Anderson city is recorded as a municipality, and its county relationship is Anderson County; the population estimate applies to the city, not automatically to every household or individual in the county. Bosseo’s public Local Services Ads description says practice-area categories and service areas can be set deliberately. That makes geographic scope a configuration decision, not something to infer from the city’s population.
Recommended approach
Write down the locations your firm actually accepts before discussing budget. Separate Anderson city from Anderson County and any additional South Carolina areas. Ask how each location will be represented, how out-of-area inquiries will be identified, and whether the reporting will distinguish the selected service areas. Treat the Anderson population figure as context only; do not use it to forecast demand.
