Start with the geography you actually serve
The U.S. Census Bureau records Providence as a municipality in Providence County. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 191,767, with a margin of error of 114. That is context for the city, not evidence of search demand, legal need, competition, lead volume, or revenue. It also does not define the area your firm should advertise. Households, individuals, Providence city, Providence County, and surrounding areas are different geographic questions. An LSA profile should therefore reflect the matters your firm can accept and the places it can serve—not a population figure used as a proxy for opportunity.
Recommended approach
Decide whether the program should cover Providence city, additional parts of Providence County, or another service area your firm can support. Review the relationship between each selected area and your practice categories before setting the profile. Ask Bosseo to evaluate geographic coverage and targeting against your actual capacity and matter types.
