1. Define the review geography before changing the process
East Providence and Providence County are different geographic descriptions. Your firm may serve people in East Providence while also handling matters elsewhere in Rhode Island or in other places. A review program should therefore distinguish the location of the client, the location named in a review, the firm’s service area and the geographic scope of the Google Business Profile. The Census record establishes East Providence’s municipal and county relationship, but it cannot tell you where clients found the firm or where future inquiries will originate.
Recommended approach
Before a consultation, map the locations your firm actually serves and decide which geographic questions matter in reporting. Review whether your profile, website and public responses describe the firm accurately without implying an office, result or local presence that you do not have. Ask Bosseo how its proposed work would treat East Providence, Providence County and any additional Rhode Island service areas separately.
