Define what “Cumberland” means before reviewing ROI
The Census record identifies Cumberland as a municipal-town in Providence County, Rhode Island. That relationship matters because a report can easily mix Cumberland, the wider county, other Rhode Island communities and a firm’s actual service area. A population estimate describes the town; it does not establish how many people search for legal services, where callers live or which matters a firm can accept. The dashboard’s value depends on naming those boundaries precisely. Review whether a keyword, call or lead is associated with Cumberland, Providence County, another municipality or a broader Rhode Island target. Also separate the person’s location from the location targeted by a page or campaign.
Recommended approach
At the consultation, ask for a written geography definition for each tracked service and each report. Treat Cumberland as one named municipal-town target, Providence County as a separate geographic relationship and Rhode Island as a broader scope. Do not approve a measurement plan that treats those areas as interchangeable.
