A custom build should answer a specific operational problem. Recommended approach
Write down one process in plain language: who performs it, what information they enter, where the process pauses, and what has to happen next. Bring that description to a consultation. If the issue is only a preference for a different screen, compare existing products first. If the issue is recurring manual work that affects several steps, it may justify custom scoping.
