Start with the geographic question your firm actually needs answered
Union township and Washington County are not interchangeable labels. If your website, advertising or intake process refers to Union, the county, or a broader Pennsylvania service area, attribution should preserve those distinctions in the journey you review. The Census record identifies Union township as a municipal-town in Washington County and reports a population estimate of 5,401 for 2020–2024. That figure does not establish how many people need legal help, how many search for a lawyer, or how many inquiries your firm may receive. It does establish why geographic definitions should be deliberate: a Union inquiry, a Washington County inquiry and a broader Pennsylvania inquiry may represent different marketing decisions.
Recommended approach
Before judging performance, list the geographic areas your firm intends to serve and the pages or campaigns associated with them. Ask whether the record you review can show the relevant landing page and source without collapsing every inquiry into a generic Pennsylvania label.
