1. Define what the dashboard is meant to measure
A useful ROI conversation starts with definitions rather than a visual layout. Bosseo’s public page says the dashboard can show keyword rankings, calls, leads, case-type breakdowns, forms and intakes, source attribution, review growth and trends over time. It also describes contacts as distinguishable by categories such as Potential New Client, Current Client or Other. Ask how each category is defined for your firm, particularly when a person calls about a practice area outside your intake scope or contacts the office more than once. The Somerset geography matters here: Somerset township and Somerset County are not interchangeable labels. If your firm accepts matters throughout the county, the dashboard should make clear whether location is attached to a caller, a page, a campaign, a matter or another field. Population is not a substitute for any of those definitions.
Recommended approach
Write a short measurement dictionary before approving the dashboard. Include lead, qualified lead, matter, signed matter, case type, source, service area and duplicate contact. Ask Bosseo to identify which fields are available, which are classified, and which require your staff to confirm them.
