1. Define the Reading market before reviewing the numbers
Reading city and Berks County are not interchangeable geographic labels. A partner may want to assess activity from Reading itself, from the wider county, or from other Pennsylvania locations served by the firm. Those questions require separate filters and separate interpretation. The Census record identifies Reading as a municipality in Berks County and records the city’s population estimate; it does not identify prospective clients or prove that any practice area has demand there. A useful dashboard review therefore begins with the geographic questions your firm actually asks.
Recommended approach
Write down the locations you want to evaluate and the practice areas attached to each one. During a Bosseo consultation, ask how city, county and broader Pennsylvania activity would be distinguished in the dashboard, and whether the available view supports the geographic decisions you need to make.
