Set the geographic question before reading the numbers
The Census record identifies Penn township and its relationship to Lancaster County. Those are not interchangeable scopes. A report that combines township activity with county activity can answer a different question from the one your partners intended. The same caution applies to households, individuals and geographic areas: a population estimate is not a count of prospective clients. For a Penn firm, the first dashboard review should therefore make geographic scope visible rather than treating every local figure as evidence of opportunity.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels will be used in the dashboard and in any connected marketing discussion. Decide whether a metric is intended to describe Penn township, Lancaster County, a broader Pennsylvania market or another defined area. Keep those scopes separate when reviewing rankings, calls and leads.
