1. Define what “ROI” means before reviewing a tile
Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes rankings, calls, leads, case-type breakdowns, forms and intakes, source attribution, review growth and trends over time. It also describes leads and matters by case type being tied to revenue. Those labels are useful only when your firm agrees on the underlying definitions. A Mount Lebanon firm should distinguish the township from Allegheny County, the wider service area and any other locations it targets. A lead from a Mount Lebanon page, a call from a county-wide campaign and a signed matter may belong to different reporting categories. The township’s population estimate cannot establish how many people need counsel or how many will contact a firm.
Recommended approach
Bring a written definition for inquiry, potential new client, qualified intake, retained matter, source, case type and revenue. Ask Bosseo how each definition appears in the dashboard, who can change it and how historical records are handled. Treat any illustrative calculation as a method for review, not as a forecast.
