1. Set the geographic boundary before reading the numbers
The Census record identifies Mount Carmel borough as a municipality in Northumberland County. It does not establish a market area, a service radius or demand for any practice. That distinction matters when a dashboard reports city, county or broader geographic performance. A number labeled “Mount Carmel” should not silently be treated as Northumberland County performance, and county activity should not automatically be credited to the borough. Ask how location is assigned, what happens when a caller gives no location, and whether a source reports a city, county or another area. The dashboard page says city data can help inform decisions about where the next marketing dollar goes; it does not make the Census population an ROI forecast.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, write down the exact geography you want to evaluate: Mount Carmel borough, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, or another area your firm serves. Ask Bosseo to show how that geography appears in the dashboard and how mixed or unknown locations are handled.
