Use Middlesex geography to define intake coverage—not to predict demand
Middlesex township is in Butler County, Pennsylvania. A firm may serve people in the township, elsewhere in Butler County, or across a broader Pennsylvania service area. Those are different operating questions. A caller’s location should not automatically determine whether the firm accepts the matter, routes it to another person, or refers it elsewhere. Intake Coach is presented as a law-firm-specific system that reviews every intake call and produces a call-quality analysis. That creates an opportunity to examine whether location is being captured consistently and whether the next step matches the firm’s actual service area.
Recommended approach
At consultation, define the geographic boundaries your firm uses for each practice area. Review whether callers identify a municipality, county, court location, incident location, or another legally relevant place. Decide which geographic details belong in qualification, which require attorney review, and which should trigger a referral or decline. Do not use Middlesex’s population as a proxy for expected intake volume.
