1. Set the geographic boundary before reading the numbers
Martic township and Lancaster County are not interchangeable. A dashboard can only support a useful decision when you know whether a metric refers to Martic, the county, Pennsylvania or another service area. The Census record identifies Martic as a municipal-town in Lancaster County and estimates its population at 5,192 for 2020–2024. That is context for defining coverage, not proof that residents are searching for a particular practice area or that a campaign will produce matters.
Recommended approach
At the consultation, list the exact locations your firm wants to evaluate. Keep Martic township separate from Lancaster County and from broader Pennsylvania coverage. Ask how city, county, service and case-type labels would be reviewed together rather than treating one population figure as a forecast.
