What are Local Service Ads?+
They are Google’s local advertising format for service providers. Bosseo’s public LSA page describes placement above regular ads, the map pack and organic results, with pay-per-lead pricing rather than pay-per-click pricing. Placement, eligibility and ranking remain subject to Google’s rules.
Can a Luzerne law firm target only Luzerne township?+
The intended service geography can be reviewed, but the final settings and eligibility should be confirmed against the firm’s actual service area and Google’s current requirements. Luzerne township is recorded in Fayette County; that relationship should not be expanded into an assumption that the firm serves the entire county.
Does the Luzerne population prove that Local Service Ads will produce leads?+
No. The 2020–2024 ACS estimate for Luzerne township is 5,409, with a margin of error of 24. That is population context only. It does not prove demand, competition, search volume, leads, cases or revenue.
What information should we prepare before a consultation?+
Prepare the firm’s accepted practice areas, excluded matters, service locations, jurisdictional limits, intake hours, response ownership, Google screening information and preferred definitions for a qualified inquiry, consultation and signed matter.
How are unwanted leads handled?+
Bosseo’s public LSA page says it disputes junk leads, including wrong numbers, solicitors, spam and matters outside the selected practice area or geography. Ask how the review is documented, which situations are eligible for dispute and how credits are communicated.
How should we judge whether the program is working?+
Do not rely on call counts alone. Track the stages your firm can verify, such as qualified inquiry, consultation scheduled, consultation completed and signed matter. Bosseo’s public page describes lead-to-case tracking and an ROI Dashboard; confirm the intended measurement scope during the consultation.
