1. Set the geographic boundary before reviewing intake
Your firm may serve Lower Salford township, Montgomery County, a wider Pennsylvania area or several distinct service territories. Those are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies Lower Salford township as a municipal-town in Montgomery County and reports a population estimate of 16,137 for 2020–2024. It does not establish how many people contact a law firm, which matters they need, how often calls arrive or what languages callers prefer. Intake Coach should therefore be assessed against the geographic labels your firm actually uses in its phone greetings, qualification questions and matter-routing rules.
Recommended approach
Bring your preferred service-area wording to the review. Decide whether the caller’s location is an early qualification field, an attorney-routing field or simply information captured for follow-up. Do not use the township population as a substitute for intake data.
