Start with the bottleneck, not a feature list
Bosseo’s public Custom Software page gives examples such as client status portals, intake tools, internal dashboards and referral fee trackers. It also frames the starting point as a manual task that consumes staff time. That is a more useful starting point for a Kennedy firm than shopping for a broad platform: identify the repeated action, the person responsible, the systems touched and the consequence when the task waits or is entered incorrectly. Kennedy’s relationship to Allegheny County may matter when you define the firm’s service territory or reporting labels, but it does not tell you which operational problem exists inside the office.
Recommended approach
Bring one observable bottleneck to the consultation. Describe what happens today, who performs each step, what information is re-entered, and what a satisfactory result would look like. Ask Bosseo to distinguish a custom build from an existing product or a process change. A smaller, well-defined tool can be easier to assess than a request to replace every system at once.
