1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Indiana is recorded as a municipal-town in Pennsylvania and has a recorded relationship with Allegheny County. That distinction matters when you review attribution. A page aimed at Indiana township is not automatically a page for every household or individual in Allegheny County, and population does not establish legal need or marketing opportunity. Your review should therefore separate the places your firm intentionally serves from the places that merely appear in a browser journey. Attribution can be useful when a managing partner wants to know whether an inquiry came through a particular landing page, channel or referral path rather than relying on a broad geographic label.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic labels your firm uses in intake and reporting before interpreting a lead. Review whether Indiana township, Allegheny County and any broader Pennsylvania service area should remain separate fields or reporting views. Do not use the township’s population estimate as a forecast of leads or cases.
