Start with the correct Hopewell geography
A location report should distinguish Hopewell township from York County and from any broader Pennsylvania or metropolitan audience your firm serves. The Census record identifies Hopewell township as a municipal-town in York County. It does not show how many people seek legal help, which practice areas are active, or whether a particular channel performs well. For attribution, that distinction matters because a location label is not the same as a lead source. A prospective client may live in Hopewell, search from elsewhere, visit a page about a wider service area and contact a firm whose practice extends beyond the township.
Recommended approach
During a review, define the geographic fields you want to examine: Hopewell township, York County, other Pennsylvania locations and any broader service area your firm intentionally accepts. Decide whether location should be recorded as a client’s residence, the search context, the landing page, or another clearly defined field. Do not use the township’s population as a substitute for demand or expected inquiries.
