1. Start with a geographic definition that does not overstate the market
A dashboard is only useful when the firm agrees on what “local” means. The Census record identifies Greene township as a municipal-town in Franklin County. It does not establish that every resident is a prospective client, that a matter will originate there or that Franklin County should automatically be treated as the firm’s service area. Those distinctions matter when you review city, county or broader Pennsylvania reporting. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text describes city data, service-and-city keyword targets and rankings across a state. That makes geographic definitions an important acceptance question for a Greene firm: which locations should be tracked, and which should remain outside the decision?
Recommended approach
Before relying on a local performance view, write down whether each metric is for Greene township, Franklin County, another Pennsylvania location or the entire state. Ask to see how the dashboard separates those scopes. Do not use the township’s population estimate as a forecast of inquiries or matters.
