1. Start with the call path, not the population
The Census record identifies Erie city and its relationship to Erie County. It does not say how many people contact law firms, which practice areas generate calls, or when callers reach your office. Your decision should therefore begin with your own call path: which number callers use, who answers first, what happens during lunch or court, and where unanswered calls go. Bosseo’s public AI Answering page says calls ring the firm’s team first and that the AI steps in when nobody answers within 20 seconds.
Recommended approach
Map the current path for callers in Erie, elsewhere in Erie County and any other area your firm serves. Then ask Bosseo to review whether a 20-second fallback fits your existing phone system, office hours and internal responsibilities. Keep the geographic scope explicit so a call from Erie city is not confused with a caller elsewhere in the county or Pennsylvania.
