1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The name Delaware can describe different places. The Census record for Delaware township identifies it as a municipal-town in Pike County, Pennsylvania, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 7,629 and a margin of error of 21. That is a description of one Pennsylvania municipality, not evidence of statewide Delaware demand, competition, legal need, leads or revenue. A firm serving Delaware, Pennsylvania or both should therefore decide how its service area is expressed before changing pages. A page that names a county, municipality, metropolitan area or state should match the firm’s actual eligibility and intake practice. Households and individuals are also different audiences; the site should not blur them.
Recommended approach
Review every location statement, attorney bio, practice-area page and contact path. Separate Delaware coverage from Pennsylvania coverage, and identify whether Pike County is relevant to the firm’s real service area. Do not use the township population as a market-size claim. Test whether a prospective client can tell where the firm serves without guessing.
