1. Set the geographic definition before reading the numbers
A local report becomes difficult to interpret when “College,” Centre County and Pennsylvania are treated as interchangeable. The Census identifies College as a municipal-town in Centre County. Your firm may serve a narrower or broader area, but the dashboard should not silently turn a township measure into a county or statewide conclusion. Decide whether a location field means the search target, the caller’s location, the office’s service area or the matter’s venue. Those are different concepts. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes rankings and keyword coverage for service-and-city targets, along with city and case-type data. That makes geography a measurement decision rather than a decorative label.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how your proposed College and Centre County targets would be named, grouped and reviewed. Record which geographic labels are used for rankings, calls, forms, intakes and lead attribution. Do not treat the College population estimate as a forecast of calls or signed matters.
