1. Start with the service area, not the population estimate
The Census record identifies Cambria township and its county relationship as Cambria County. It does not establish how many people search for a lawyer, where prospective clients travel from, or whether a particular practice area has enough paid-lead opportunity. Those questions require a review of the firm’s actual service geography and Google’s available targeting options. Decide whether the intended coverage is Cambria township, other parts of Cambria County, or additional Pennsylvania locations the firm can lawfully and practically serve. Do not describe the county as a city, and do not treat township population as a market forecast.
Recommended approach
Map the locations the firm accepts, the locations it excludes, and the locations it can serve without creating an intake burden. Review whether the profile’s service areas match the firm’s licensing, court coverage, consultation practice and capacity. Geographic settings should follow the firm’s real operating choices rather than a population-based assumption.
