1. Set the geographic scope before asking for reviews
A Butler practice may serve clients in Butler city, elsewhere in Butler County, or across a broader Pennsylvania service area. Those are different audiences, and a review program should not blur them. The Census record identifies Butler city’s county relationship as Butler County, but it does not establish where your clients live or where your matters originate. Before implementation, compare the locations in your closed-matter records with the locations you want your Google Business Profile and other public listings to represent.
Recommended approach
Define the service area in plain language and decide whether the review program should cover every eligible client or only particular matter and location groups. Do not use the city population as a proxy for likely review volume. Ask Bosseo how geographic scope would be represented and what information the firm would need to provide.
