Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The U.S. Census Bureau records Butler as a municipality in Butler County, Pennsylvania. Its 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate is 13,212, with a margin of error of 49. That figure describes Butler city; it does not describe all of Butler County, prove legal demand, or establish how many people search for a lawyer. Your attribution review should therefore preserve the distinction between a Butler city visitor, a Butler County inquiry and a broader Pennsylvania contact. A location label alone is not enough to judge marketing performance.
Recommended approach
Decide which geographic distinctions matter in your intake record and reporting. Review whether the firm needs to separate Butler city from Butler County and from other Pennsylvania locations, then use those distinctions only when the underlying inquiry data supports them.
