1. Start with the footprint you actually serve
Bosseo states that its program can cover a whole state or only selected counties. For a Bedford firm, that makes the first decision geographic rather than numerical. Bedford township is in Bedford County, but a firm should not treat the township and the county as interchangeable. Decide whether your intake team accepts matters throughout Bedford County, only selected communities, or clients across Pennsylvania. The Census record identifies Bedford township and its county relationship; it does not show where your clients come from or where your attorneys practice.
Recommended approach
Bring a service-area map to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to evaluate a Bedford-focused footprint, a Bedford County footprint, and any broader Pennsylvania scope you genuinely serve. Exclude places your firm does not intend to handle. A narrower footprint can be easier to review for accuracy and operational fit; a broader footprint requires a clear explanation of how each page relates to your actual services.
