1. Decide whether the problem is truly custom
Custom software is not automatically the right answer. Bosseo’s public Custom Software page describes tools built around a firm’s workflow, including client portals, intake tools, internal dashboards and referral trackers. It also says firms should buy off-the-shelf software when a product genuinely matches the problem. The better question for a Bangor firm is not “Can software be built?” It is “Where does the current process fail often enough, or fit poorly enough, to justify a purpose-built tool?” Write down the task rather than the desired technology. Examples include re-entering consultation information, checking a shared inbox, maintaining a referral spreadsheet or answering repeated status questions. These examples describe possible review areas, not promised builds or results.
Recommended approach
Bring one recurring bottleneck to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to explain what would remain in your existing systems, what the proposed tool would own, and what evidence would show that the build solves the stated problem.
