Start with the firm’s actual geographic scope
A Veneta law firm may serve clients in the city, elsewhere in Lane County, or across Oregon. Those are different geographic relationships, and the hosting decision should follow the website you actually operate rather than the population of one municipality. The Census record identifies Veneta city as a municipality in Lane County; it does not show search demand, competition, legal need or expected leads. Review whether your current site contains city, county, metropolitan-area or statewide pages, and whether those pages are accurate and useful to the people you intend to serve. Google guidance says scaled pages need original value, accuracy and relevance; automation alone does not guarantee crawling, indexing or visibility.
Recommended approach
Bring your current domain, host information and a list of the geographic pages your firm genuinely supports to the consultation. Ask whether the proposed infrastructure, permissions and recovery plan fit the site you have—not an assumed market.
