1. Start with Sandy’s actual intake geography
Your firm may describe its service area as Sandy, Clackamas County, Oregon, or another defined territory. Those descriptions are not interchangeable. Sandy is a municipality in Clackamas County, and the Census estimate for the city is 12,854 for 2020–2024, with a margin of error of 45. That does not establish how many prospective clients call, where callers live, which matters you accept, or whether your team needs additional coverage. Intake Coach should therefore be evaluated against the geography your firm actually serves. Review whether staff record caller location, jurisdiction, deadlines and case type consistently. If geographic eligibility affects acceptance, those fields should be part of the conversation review rather than inferred from a city name.
Recommended approach
Bring your current service-area rules to the consultation. Decide which location details must be confirmed during intake and which should be escalated to an attorney. Treat Sandy and Clackamas County as defined intake questions, not as demand signals.
