1. Set the geographic frame before reading the numbers
A report about Lebanon city is not automatically a report about Linn County, the wider Oregon market or every person who contacts a firm. The Census record identifies Lebanon as a municipality in Linn County and records its population estimate for 2020–2024. Those facts help you state the geography precisely, but they do not establish how many people need legal help or where future matters will originate. Bosseo’s public dashboard text describes city data as one possible decision input, alongside rankings, calls and leads. The useful question is therefore not whether a population number is large enough. It is whether the dashboard’s geographic labels match the service area you intend to evaluate.
Recommended approach
At consultation, define whether each report should identify Lebanon, Linn County, another Oregon location or a broader service area. Ask how geographic fields will be displayed and interpreted before using them in budget or practice-area decisions.
