Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Dallas city is recorded as a municipality in Polk County, Oregon. That relationship matters when you review a law firm’s public profile and service language: the firm may serve Dallas, other parts of Polk County, or a broader Oregon area, but those are different geographic scopes. City population alone cannot tell you how many prospective clients will search, how many firms compete, or how many clients may leave reviews. Reputation work should therefore begin with the firm’s real service area, not with a population-based assumption.
Recommended approach
List the cities, county areas, and Oregon service relationships your firm intentionally presents to clients. Then review whether your Google Business Profile and public responses describe that scope accurately. Keep Dallas, Polk County, and any broader service area distinct in your internal review so that reputation activity is measured against the audience you actually serve.
