1. Start with the Cedar Mill boundary
Cedar Mill is recorded as a CDP rather than a city, and its county relationships are Multnomah County and Washington County. That matters when a firm reviews location-based reporting. A dashboard discussion should identify whether a location label means Cedar Mill, one of the two counties, a wider metropolitan area or another service territory. Those geographic scopes are not interchangeable. Population is not a substitute for a demand measure, and a Cedar Mill population estimate cannot prove that a particular practice area will produce calls or signed matters.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels would be defined in the proposed reporting. Before accepting a location view, decide which locations, service areas and case types belong in the firm’s operating review. Treat the Cedar Mill estimate as context, not as a forecast or performance baseline.
