1. Define what “Bethany” means in the dashboard
The Census record identifies Bethany as a CDP in Washington County. A Bethany report should not silently mix the CDP with the county, the Portland metropolitan area, Oregon as a whole, or another service territory. Those are different geographic scopes. The population estimate describes the place; it does not establish search volume, competition, calls, cases or revenue. The first dashboard decision is therefore a scope decision: which service-and-city targets, locations, and reporting areas should be evaluated separately?
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels will appear beside rankings, calls, leads and case-type views. Keep Bethany CDP, Washington County and any broader territory distinct unless your firm deliberately defines a combined reporting view. Record the chosen scope in the measurement agreement so a change in geography is not mistaken for a change in performance.
