1. Define the Bend geography before reading a city metric
The dashboard page describes keyword coverage by service and city, city data and source attribution. For your firm, “Bend” should therefore be defined before anyone interprets a city result. Bend city and Deschutes County are not interchangeable geographic labels. A report that combines city, county, metropolitan or statewide observations can answer a different question from the one a partner intended to ask. The Census record identifies Bend as a municipality in Deschutes County and records the city’s 2020–2024 ACS estimate at 103,390. That is useful geographic context, not evidence that residents are searching for a particular practice area or that a marketing channel produces matters.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show the geographic label attached to each ranking, lead and source view. Decide whether your operating question concerns Bend city, Deschutes County, Oregon or another defined area. Keep those scopes separate in internal reviews, and do not use the population estimate as a forecast of demand or case volume.
