1. Start with Aloha’s actual service geography
Aloha is a census-designated place in Washington County, not a shorthand for every nearby community or the entire Portland metropolitan area. The Census record supports using Aloha and Washington County as distinct geographic references. It does not show where your inquiries live, which areas your firm serves, or whether a particular location generates cases. Attribution therefore matters at the level of an individual inquiry: the firm can review the journey and the matter information rather than treating the population estimate as a proxy for demand.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic fields your team needs before implementation. Decide whether location should be recorded as the person’s stated location, the service location, the landing-page geography or another firm-approved field. Keep Aloha, Washington County and any broader service area separate so a geographic report does not imply more precision than the underlying record supports.
