1. Define the geography before you judge the numbers
A dashboard can only answer a local question if the question has a clear geographic boundary. Yukon city is recorded in Canadian County. A Yukon-focused view is not automatically a Canadian County view, an Oklahoma City metropolitan view, or a statewide view. Those areas should not be treated as interchangeable. The same discipline applies to people and households: a population estimate for Yukon city does not establish how many people need legal help or how many are searching for a particular practice area. Bosseo’s public description says the dashboard can show city data and tracked service-and-city targets. Ask which locations would be tracked, how nearby markets would be separated, and whether the proposed view distinguishes Yukon from broader coverage.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geography list to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to identify which rankings, calls, leads and source records would be attributed to Yukon, Canadian County, other locations or an unclassified area. Approve the dashboard only when the geographic definitions match the firm’s actual service area.
